O.K. Up for sale here is my Andy Gilbert. I cant seem to trade it off for a Mottey, so I'm going to try to sell it and try to buy a Mottey with cash. If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell. All in all with all the trading and upgrading I did, I have more into this cue than price I want. I got it from a reputable seller/buyer here on AZ. The cue comes with two shafts, both non-ivory ferrules. Both shafts weigh 4.00 oz. and measure right about 12.80 mm where the ferrules mee the wood. The blued used shaft has a new moori tip on it. The other shaft was never used by me. It is clean and it has a one piece tip. Lepro I think. The butt is in great condition. It weighs 14.20 oz. All eight inlays are ivory, and the ringwork is beautiful. The butt has no nicks, but it does have a couple of light scrapes/ scratches. They should be able to buff out I think. The shafts might have a slightest taper roll in the middle if any. The steel rings are raised a tad here and there. No more than a couple thousanths of an inch at most. The price is $950.00 firm. Add $30.00 for Paypal. I will ship out the cue U.S.P.S. priority mail with delivery confirmation and insurance in CONUS. The cue hits great and I will be willing to trade up for a Mottey or a James White. I have some money to work with. Here are the pics, and thanks for your time. Dom

Price Drop $950.00 shipped (firm) $30.00 more for paypal

Just added some more pics of the full cue and 2 shafts.

O.K. One final bump to the top. I'm going to let it run through the weekend and then I'll decide if its going to fleabay or not. I'm mean, whats the worst case scenario? I actually keep a beautiful Andy Gilbert?
Life could be plenty worse. Thanks to all for their interest. Dom.

Does this cue have aweight bolt in it ????

Thanks............Paul

Yes....or at least ones like this normally should. Any time you see one of Andy's cues with a Delrin butt cap, it should be drilled and tapped with a 3/8-16 weight bolt in it (aluminum or steel). He uses the bolt to help secure the Delrin, which doesn't glue well.

I took off the allen head screw that holds on the rubber butt capp and there was a big flat head screw underneath. I guess thats a weight bolt.

Crazy nice cue. I sold a Gilbert with BEM inlays in the butt and ivory rings which while nice was not in this league. I sold it for $830.00 shipped I believe and still regret it. Needed money for house stuff. Good luck with the sale. His cues are awesome and I am using a cocobolo J/B with a predator 314-2 shaft on it now and am shooting better than usual with it.
