Looking for decent places to play pool in the Ann Arbor MI. Any tournaments you might know about would be great to.

Only place to play is the Union Room on campus.

Closest tournaments are in Warren (1hr away) on Mondays and Thursdays (open 9 ball).

I haven't lived in the area since 2003,

but back then the "8 Ball Saloon" had an 8 Ball tourney on Tuesdays nights and a 9 Ball tourney on Sundays.

Jackson, Michigan (40 miles to the west) has a great pool hall called "The Garage".

In Battle Creek (about 75 miles to the west of Ann Arbor) has a great pool hall called "The Billiard Cafe". Back when I lived in the area it was run by a solid pro named Jayme Goodwin

I guess it is called the Brickyard Pub now

there is a great tourney at cones and cue in monroe 20 min away, stop by look at some cues and shoot with me!! 734-693-3177 ill also take you to the union if you want i have to look for some cues that were stolen about a year and a half ago
