hey,

best you email him or karen, he's not on here as much as he use to. i'm sure you'll get a reply that way, and personally it's a more effective way to get an answer as opposed to posting here? ;)

on rare occasions i am right, and in this instance, it seems i was right...

john sent me an email, friend to friend and to me the truth of all of this is that john is a really good friend to all of us, not me in particular - we are not deep friends, but we are good AZ friends but that means enough to me and john and most of you to i think

he takes his work very seriously. and i think many of us know that about him. for sure he gets 'a little heated' once in a while but not more than me or most here, we share a lot together

i know one day i will get my case, but really, i never pressured him. or really cared when that day would be - so i was never disappointed

i knew it would come one day...

i am sure of only one thing - i will love the case that john builds for me

i have no doubt

Glad to hear that! I was just in john's workshop last friday, and your name is really right up there on the list (along with Doug Labout) so i'm sure you're case will be worked on really soon. He's just doing alot of reorganising in his shop now.

Anyway good luck and hope you get your beauty soon!

no worries my friend but i am a little jealous of you cause you are in China. i really love the people there!! and the food there is the best i have ever had the privilege to enjoy and i have been in most countries in the northern hemisphere at one time or another

soooo...
in my mind, john and his beloved and youngin' are just having a wonderful time so i clearly understand my cue-case is not the most important thing on his mind - besides, i can't blame him a bit

i wish him and his family well and really appreciate his friendship so all is well here in vegas

and finally, i will look forward to the day i receive it - its always good to have expectation of things to come...

Hey Smokey,

Envious of me being in china? seriously?? For holiday maybe so..but anything more and it becomes too trying. Anyway if you ever plan to visit central china drop me a line, i'd be more than happy to be a guide. Right now i'm back in Singapore for a couple of weeks basking in the sun, sand and sea :thumbup:

I know what you mean about looking forward to things, its good to have that longing feeling for something. Well when you do get the case remember to share it here! Cheers!
