Annual cue builder pool tournament

Is there any interest in this idea? I think it would be fun. I think people would have fun watching their favorite builder play.



Most of us were player before builders and having the title "2011 top playing builder" would be fun.

VF or if Fatboy put it on are the first two places that come to mind. Any cue show would work. I'd walk to Philly for something like this.

Is it possible??

I'd pay to see such an event. Bill Stroud spoke of this tournament years ago (said he won). I watched Paul Mottey play on the TV table during a US Open a few years back.

If someone puts an event together, I'll sponsor one or more of my favorite cuemakers.

They do something similar at the cue collectors show. I attended the show this last year and had a good time playing in the little tourney.

I would love to play as well. I think Valley Forge would be the best location and time, for me anyways.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about it!
