and for anyone using sectional aiming (i.e. 3/4 ball hit = 48 degrees etc, etc)...
I hope that was a typo and you meant to say 1/4-ball hit. A 3/4-full hit causes a cut of about 14.5 degrees if you ignore contact-induced throw, or about 13 degrees if you do.

I wouldn't be surprised that Leveck is scurrying around right now to add it into an addendum which will be sent to all past purchasers or to be included in Aiming On The Cutting Edge II. :D

i personally called and verbally abused him for not including it......... :D

BOB: Buy the darn book!!!!
Hi Randy,

While I'm waiting for my copy to arrive...
I'd guess that you have the book already. Of all the systems listed in the book, which do you personally feel are the most worthwhile to try working into your game? Which do you feel should have been left out of the book.

Randy...if you're a true friend you won't ruin it for him. There's nothing like discovering things like this on your own and makes the anticipation of the book's arrival that much greater. Think of Carly Simon singing right now..... An-ti-ci-pa-tion... (Personally, I don't think the nit sprang for it)

Hi Bob

Todd lists several systems and does a very good job explaining each of them. He even goes as far as rating all of them, good-to-bad.

To my pleasure he ranks one of Hal Houle's system the best. It happens to be my personal aiming system. Can't wait for you to review the book and give us your feedback....randyg

I was hoping to see your opinion of the various systems. I suspect that you have far more experience teaching people how to aim than Todd does.

Which of Hal's many systems is explained in the book? Does Todd's explanation seem to align well with what you learned during your discussions with Hal, or is it a different system or explanation entirely?

Bob it is my opinion that each student sees through their own eyes. As you well know, we never expect the student to think or see the same as their Instructor. It's our job to convey the information in a form that they understand. While the Ghost Ball may work well for some, a fractional system might light a fire for others.

Todd doesn't stay on the same theory line as Hal does. Hal hits it right on the nose IMO.

I think Hal has given me a God sent tool to teach with. After all the long hours spent with Hal my personal game has once again taken a huge turn for the better, due to better ball pocketing. Also I now have the ability to share that aiming system (along with others) with most of our students.

Bob, I will share this system with you in private simply because it is too hard to explain in writing.

Give me you fax number and I will send the start over to you.....randyg
