I've the liberty to purchase this cue on the account of a friend from Joe. I'm very happy to say that Joe is such a joy to deal with! His responses are quick and he won't ever turn a question or request down. Real stand-up guy to deal with.

I've tried this cue myself and allowed a couple of my friends to play with them too, with various league experiences. Personally, we grouped ourselves into two categories, mainly those who use production cues (Predators and Mezz) and custom cues. Those in the production group quickly got very comfortable to the cue. They got the hang of the Pierce cue quickly as the tapering of the shaft was pretty much the same as their own. The hits were pretty similar as well, those using 314-2 said that the cue hit's slightly stiffer than their own and a mixed opinion between the Mezz users (WD700, HP2 shafts).

The custom players weren't exactly a large group but we felt it was a very comfortable cue to play with. There seems to be a lower deflection of the cue as compared to our own customs and although it took some getting use to at the beginning, it was nice to play with a cue where we have lesser need to compensate for.

Overall: It was a real joy to play with a Pierce cue. Even though it may be less stiff than high-end cuemakers, it was easy to maneuver the cueball around the table. Definitely a great cuemaker there =)
