Another Cue Case (Idea)

I haven't had a lot of interest in pool lately, so I haven't been on here, but I had another idea for a cue case last night so I thought I'd post it:
Bamboo.
It's the perfect material; long, straight, hard as a rock, all you would need to do is punch out the dividers, add a little padding and you have a case!
I'm going to try it out soon and see how it works. Here's a stalk I used to take a few rough measurements to see if it would work.

I'll probably use a smaller one (or at least one with thinner sidewalls) but this one was just easiest to get to.

Someone did this a while back. They seemed to turn out nice so good luck.

Maybe this will give you a few extra ideas. I really like the use of rope.

Wow, those look cool. The rope makes them look very nautical. I searched around and couldn't find anything on bamboo cases, I guess I didn't use the right search terms.

I'll post pictures etc. of my progress once I start on it. If it's easy enough to make I might make a few more and sell them on here/etsy/ebay.
