Another ebay scam?

1000% Scam. If He Has The Cue And He'll Actually Take 999 For It, I'll Take Ten. I'll Even Fly To Wherever He Is To Pick Them Up. This One Is Certainly A Fraud. Ebay Will Pull It Shortly, Just Because Of The Buy It Now Being Listed In The Description.
 
Yeah, it was definitely the price that made me belive it to be a scam, but i have no idea what "MIF" meant so I wasn't sure if there was something I was missing. I also recognize the pics, but couldn't remember where I saw them.

How do you report this to ebay?
 
I told Him I lived near by, and that I would take it,just to let me know where we could meet up!, for some reason I still havent heard back??

Hi Jayman,

I just asked him where he leaves, because I told him I would like to test it out before I make him a offer.....so will see.

But I'm still 100% sure this guy is a SCAM.....be carefull everyone.:)

Guys, its a scam. One of my customers sold the cue on e-bay a couple of weeks ago in the $3500 range. I've contacted E-bay and the current owner knows about the scam. It would be interesting to see how this E-bay scammer plans on pulling this off. :)

I inquired about the cue to the seller and here was his response. Can you believe omeone would take so much time on a bs answer? Whats up?:mad: :eek: :mad:

This cue was a gift from a rich relative,in the past i use to play pool, but i never made from this a way of life, now i have a wife and two kids and other priorities. And to be honest i dont need an expensive cue like this to play some pool once in a wile.

The cue is like new with about 3 hours of play on one shaft and only test hits on the other.
No scratches or dings whatsoever...perfect in every way.
Rare straight grain maple front made from Burton Spain Stock. 19.8oz, 58", 2 shafts 12.75 & 12.70, Kamui Tips, Black Leather Wrap and a Delrin Butt Cap.
I have restricted the bidding because i want to have the chance to talk to you before any transaction will be done.
Along with the cue I will send you a receipt stating it is genuine Hercek..From the beginig you have to know that I will end this deal only trough Ebay so bought of us will be protected.

The part in bold face is funny. If you look at the real auction from which this guy stole the pics, it also says "Cue is like new with about 3 hours of play on one shaft and only test hits on the other. What an amazing coincidence!

Or perhaps this guy bought it for $3,550 on 7/2/06 and now decided to sell it for $999? What a great samaritan.

UPDATE: I see that bidding has ended for the cue in question, presumably due to someone reporting the scam to eBay.

P.S. If you want to buy a real Hercek, let me know.
