Recently I posted pictures of a cue a friend gave me bearing the real autograph of Minnesota Fats.
In a strange coincidence, another friend got another Minnesota Fats signature cue from an old man who had it in his closet having not played with it for many years. This is not a real MF signature, but rather, it is a MF "Trophy" model. The old man indicated that he bought it new in the 1950's. Sounds (and looks to me) like that could be right.
Well, anyway, I am interested to learn more about the cue. I realize it isn't anything valuable but wonder who made these and if 1950's is right.
I'm aware of Brunswick making a "Trophy" model cue but not sure when - it may be one of theirs.
