I pretty much like something from all genres of music. My parents owned a pool hall while I was younger so I heard it all. My personal preference would be hip hop though. My 3 favorite pandora stations to listen to while playing are, Yelawolf (plays stuff from Yelawolf, Wiz Khalifa, Tech Nine, Mac Miller, etc), E-40 (Pretty much all west coast rap), and the Jay-Z station (alot of Jay-Z, Kanye, and the like) I'll also turn on some Motown once in a while as I'm very fond of that. I grew up listening to alot of the Temptations, Al Green, Gerald Levert, Marvin Gaye, stuff like that is what my parents listened to so I love that too. Like I said I like all kinds of music though so it doesn't really matter to me what's playing, and the volume doesn't really bother me either as long as it's not so loud I can't hear myself think.

NICE PICK ON THIS ONE GUYS!!! I can just picture spending a lazy afternoon with a couple close friends shooting pool to this guy's music!!!

He's definitely talented. The other artists in the playlist are all great as well and keep me level when the table layouts try to put me on tilt. Sadly the jukebox at my hall just has trendy/pop stuff in it.

When I'm playing, I really tend to want to listen to "mellow"...it tends to slow my mind down...as well as my game, so I guess I gear towards playing something in the background that has a propensity for putting the brakes on for me...

I'm such a music freak, I heard a snippet of a song in a Kingsford Charcoal commercial...and had to hunt it down...This is a remake of Human Leagues' "Fascination"
