I visited Coffee and Pool today and I'll give you a short overview. They currently have one 8x4 unheated carom table installed. It plays very slowly, but is in decent shape. The woman there said they are having another installed. They offer soda/beer and have Karaoke there.

I also visited Cafe Trang, which has 2 8x4 unheated carom tables, in very poor condition. Very dirty place, but nice people. Apparently I was lucky that they let me in, as a person in Brass Tap and Billiards told me that they usually only let people they know in the place.

It appears that mostly straight rail is played on those tables.

My desire for a public 5x10 heated carom table in the area lives on.

Come down to MT Billiards in Charlotte, 4 great heated tables, (Miguel Torres) owns this place, beautiful and well maintained place

I think I am headed to Charlotte soon.

Talk to me, nc people?

I will meet you there once myself and most people are vaccinated. I went there once based on Juanuribe's recommendation and enjoyed it. Miguel was there, and he was super nice. I was watching him and his partner play, and he even invited me to stay with him and take a lesson. The table's heaters weren't on when I went though.

By the way, I cannot go to any of the Vietnamese places with billiard tables anymore, because they are filled with cigarette smoke. Was seeing blood when blowing my nose 1 or 2 times after going there.

I hear you about the smoke. Doesn't bug me while I am there but I hate taking it out of there.

It appears MT Billiards has closed, imregret to inform.
