Enjoy!

That is a beautiful cue!

Pete did a great job - with Pete you know it will hit like a champ.

The quilted maple stands out nicely in this cue! I had never seen quilted maple before I saw Eddie Wheat's cues, and Pete and Eddie have done a lot of beautiful work with it - really - the pictures don't do it justice.

Good luck with it!

Thanks Blackjack

This cue was shipped to a customer today by Pete. He sent me pics just because I'm a big fan of his cues and the quilt.

Do you know if he has any left?

I'll be calling Eddie later on today - I think the last time I spoke to him he said that there was still some left. It is by far the most beautiful wood I have ever seen, and the ebony in that cue compliments it perfectly.

That cue is sick. The quilted maple against the ebony looks awesome.

I spoke with Eddie last night and might just have to go ahead and order a break cue from him in Quilted after seeing the grain in this cue. WOW Nice piece of equipment.

Really, you should see it up close and in person - absolutely gorgeous wood - the pictures really don't do it justice! The ebony just brings out the beauty of the quilted maple and makes you gasp - really - this was a good batch of great maple that Pete was able to get.

Wow Arnold that is a beautiful cue. I really like the leather wraps pete is using too! The quilted maple is so beautiful. It reminds me a a piece of satin when it is dropped in a pile...there is so much life in the wood.
Thanks for sharing!

Very nice cue, and Pete is another cue builder that I think highly of. I called Pete last month when I traded for a similar but Hoppe style Omen cue, quilted maple & ebony, leather wrap. I've wanted an Omen cue for a few years now, after seeing a couple of them one night, as I thought they were stunning cues to look at. They play great, and I love the way he makes his pins with the Omen name inside the threads. The other thing I noticed about this cue is that it came with a new Omen shaft and 2-Predator Z-shafts. I really didn't think I would like the Predator Z-shafts but I do, and the combination works with either shaft.

Pete is a great guy to talk to about pool and cues in general. He is also quite the businessman and seems to be very focused on the customer. Although he has a waiting list, he actively does some repair & refinish work, and from what I can see is very good at it.

Tried to post a new thread and ended up on this one somehow. Sorry for the deletion
