I just sent out my first high dollar cue through the mail recently.
Rather than describe how much I over packed it, I'll say that when the buyer received it he said "I received the cue at 12:15. By 12:45 I finally saw what it looked like!"
When the woman at the post office saw it I said "This should be indestructible" and her response was "As long as we don't run it over! haha"
Then with a straight face I asked about insurance of $2000. She laughed. I said no seriously I need insurance for $2000...

That had to be the most incredible pack job I have ever seen. Plus my carefulness of unpacking that monster cue, yes it took 30 minutes. Where did you find a tube that sturdy?? Joe hopefully someone wakes up on the issue and runs the claim through. There is absolutly no sense in the way they are giving you the run-around. Not that you need to but I'm sure James is available for hire if you need a good packing man aka Indestructible!!
