I think it's a reasonable way to teach what it's trying to teach, but I don't like what it's trying to teach.
By putting a second identical target at the end of the follow through it teaches you to try to keep your cue level all the way through, which teaches you to drop your elbow, which greatly complicates your stroke.
I like the simulated cue ball target with the markings on it - I think that (without the second target) could be useful for teaching precision tip/cue ball contact. If the second target is removed, then markings on the horizontal base could be used (like the way Cue-Tech instructors do) to teach consistent follow through with a dipping tip.
But $65 is comical.
