After reading some of the posts on the subject of one handed play I was wondering who is the best you have ever seen?

Bobby Legg

One-Handed Player

There was a great one-handed player out of Shreveport. Can't remember his name, but his break was unbelievable. He's probably early 30s. Anybody know who I am referring to?

The best I have ever seen...

Scotty Townsend Vs. Mark Tadd........Scotty getting the 8 on a bartable
More racks ran there than I have ever thought imaginable.

I grew up watching Johnny playing so he is right up there. JA of the
early 90s flat ran out and had a super high gear.

I watched Paul Turner bust a bar table ring game in Atlanta. During
a 3-4 stretch he was at the table for about 75% of it. A couple guys lost
a grand at $100 per game and never got to shoot.
During his stretch he could really hit a high gear.

Efren makes hard things appear easy. For years he has been super consistent. It appears sometimes that other guys hit higher gears but I think
its just because he plays so steady.

It was either Luat or Andam but I watched one of them beat up on a guy
in Mobile Al giving up way too much weight. Plain and simply runs outs on tough Diamonds from everywhere.

On a daily basis I got o see Chuck Ford play snooker and all games with himself being clean and sober. He had gobs of natural talent and at times
i wondered why he was not out there with Efren and Johnny.
I wonder what he is doing now? He was not able to stay straight but I hope he is now.

Gerry Watson played as perfect snooker as I have ever seen live. He was a fun guy to be around while he was playing as well. Very entertaining and
very very good.

I am sure there have been better stretchs then those that I have seen but
those are some of the best I have seen live. A friend of mine once beat me
2 races to 9 giving me the 6-7 wild and I shot once per set. He could really catch a gear at times and has gone a little under the radar for quite some time.
