Antique Table Identification

Hey Guys,

This is my first post here. I've always enjoyed playing pool growing up and wanted my parents to get a real pool table vs the kiddy 5 in 1 set I had. That never happened. I stumbled across the remains of a late 1800's brunswick front and back bar and now that I'm all grown up and have my own house I picked up my first pool table which had to match the bar. I found the perfect table, a CIRCA 1910 Brunswick Rochester. The table didn't come with any accessories as the owner was in the process of moving and didn't know where he put them. Everything but the triangle was new anyways.

I started searching for matching accessories which led me to a table advertised as a brunswick. A brunswick cue rack, ball rack, triangle, cues, clay balls, and all kinds of other goodies. When i got there I realized that the table didn't seem to be a brunswick but the accessories were. They wouldn't separate the package but I got the whole lot for a decent price so now I have two tables. I'm thinking the new one might go to my parents.

I've attached a picture of the table. Can anybody identify it? The nameplate on the rail is missing. The void is about 1 1/2" x 4". The table is a hair bigger than a 8x4. It seems to be well built but it definitely isn't a match to the rochester in heft of construction. The frame is all nailed together and was light enough to carry out with two guys.

One other clue is the pockets had what looks like a shield with stripes and five stars on the leather flap. I attached something similar I found on google image search.

Sorry about the picture quality.

Thanks,

BBC SS

Can you post some better pics with leg and side frame detail?
Also a pic of the space where the nameplate is missing.

It's also recommended to size your pics down to 800px wide
so one doesn't have to scroll across to see the whole pic.

Rick,

Here are two more pictures of just the frame. The nameplate space was filled in with painters caulk or putty so it doesn't really give any clues unless I pull all that stuff out.

Thank you,

I haven't a clue about your table....
But would to of loved to be driving down the road and seeing you trailer that table behind that car of yours.

The shield logo [could be] from Albert Pick and Co. (of Chicago)
It looks like it may be one of their tables as well.

I was pushing the limits of the car this time. It has a manual trans so does well towing stuff. I towed a Buick Nailhead and a Chevy 348 back from Iowa with it once and the car did really well. It even got 28 mpg doing it.

Here are a couple pictures of a few pieces from the bar.

Mr. Bond,

Thanks for the info. The shield on the table has stars and striped similar to my pictures that I posted. Did Albert Pick & Co. use that style of shield? I didn't have much luck finding any pictures or catalogs from Albert Pick & co.
