Hey Guys :)

I was wondering if any of you guys have got any cues or pics for cue with 16 or more points?

Something like this....

This baby is from Prather Cues, I have been mighty tempted to trade in the Andy Gilbert for it, but I'll see, as I don't know if prather cues are any good or not, and heck I'd probably get it for the sake of getting a nice cue to start collecting :)

Nothing wrong with Prather cues but I don't see any point swapping a spliced, hand made Andy Gilbert for this cue which is clearly CNC. Crazy talk mate.

22 point splice

with all respect Si, all cues are "hand made" so the CNC part isn't the issue ( i get the point though ), it's more the trade that confuses me....Gilbert for Prather???

Agreed mate, no disrespect meant to Joe Gold or Keith Josey. The point I was making was exactly the point you described. You generally don't swap a Gilbert for a Prather.

no disrespect taken, but just to clear it up for those who don't know, Keith doesn't use machines fastened with CNC to make his full and short splices.

I have never seen a Prather cue like that. I see it on their website but it doesn't look like one that Jeff made. Jeff is one of the best in the business. Just check out the "Dream Cues" on www.prathercue.com.

I agree with everyone else and recommend keeping the Gilbert as well. The cue that Andy made me is still the best hitter I've used to date.

Here's a sixteen pointer for ya!

Woah woah woah, hold the phone :) lol

First of all, I was kidding about trading the Gilbert for the Prather, simply because the Gilbert is simply an awesome cue, it has the perfect hit, feel, weight and shaft taper for me, and the balance point is also bang on target, and so, it's very much staying in my case :)

The trade-in thing was merely a friendly wind up for Si, purely meant in fun and in good spirit, and I must admit that I'm still laughing, because I've just got a text from him as well, but due to the time of day, I'll give him a call tomorrow sometime :)

The reason I have shown the pic of the 16 pointer, is because I have a custom cue, that I would like to have made, (Have wanted to have it made for the past 10 - 12 years now) and it is in the styling manner as the Prather cue pic that I have posted, (Without the diamond inlays in the points) and I have been looking for pics of 16 point cues that are in the same way, just to see if there is anything in my own design, that I would like to add, chance or take out :)

I thank you all very much for posting any pics and ideas, as they're all very much appreciated :)

Willie

P.S. Thank you John for the link, I'll check it out now :)...... Here;s the link for anyone else who wants to check it out :)
