Well,I am posting this for a friend of mine and using his words.
So,I had bought an extension some time ago and later I sold it.
What should I do now???Buy a new one, asked him to give it back to me, resell it back or continue playing without an extension ???
Thanks

Just starting one myself so far pretty good. I noticed many pro's using them at the Turning Stone. Not to plug "Balance rite cue extention "adds four inches from the joint.

lots of players like the Hager extensions but this company has stopped producing them so they have been hard to find and when they do come up, they are not cheap. Maybe approx $70.

I owned a few of them and while they are def very well made, for me they feel too fat and unnatural.

I then ordered a tony ryan and it is perfect, imo. I have heard others say that their tony ryan ext has lost the material inside the cup where the cue slips in and this can potentially scratch their cue but I have not experienced that.

Ideally, get one made that can quickly install through the bumper end of the cue.
