Any Collectors or Cue makers?

thanks . God bless you all , For helping me. Why can't I find 1 person with an old Gus like this?? every great cue maker copied ( the early Gus Szams.) should I be looking to the Museums or other famous collections?? I think I will get some photo's and send them out-to the cue makers chosen already. I personally loved it when all cues were sold from Pictures(photos) before the internet.!! mark

I've owned 14 of Gus' cues but none with the pin rounded like that. Also Gus was one of my mentors when I first got serious about cuemaking. He told me he always used Elmers white glue when gluing ivory, which wouldn't give the dark glue lines around the inlays.

Mark...Fatboy has over 50 Gus cues. Maybe he can help you.

Remember that Gus sold points to a lot of cuemakers in the 70's. So the points may very well be by Gus. Two cuemakers here that used the exact same joint and ringwork that also used Gus points were Verl Horn and Jim Ingram. The backend doesn't look like either of their work though.
