any feelings about a jacoby?

Fabulous cues. The playability of mine is excellent. Lively hit with the control I want. I have put away some really big cues because I like my Jacoby so much. It is my personal player out of a collection of 30 or so cues.
 
I own one. I custom ordered it early January '09 and it was completed late April '09. Being only 45 minutes away from their store, I see plenty of Jacoby cues around. They do great work and everyone I talked to about their cues are very happy. Most of the guys I shoot with have a Jacoby and we definitely have some of the nicest looking sticks when we travel around. Their customer service is also top-notch. I had an issue with the finish on mine a few weeks ago. I brought it in on a Monday, and picked it that Friday! It was stripped down, refinished, and rewrapped, under warranty. They even stayed open late on Friday for me to pick it up. I've been more than happy with mine, and I definitely plan on ordering another very soon.
