I know the circles tend to overlap...

Was just wondering if anyone maybe knows of a good online forum for golf (as close to an "AZG" as you know)? Informational posts, Wanted/For Sale, etc.
If so, please PM me and let me know!

Thanks,
- Joaquin.

www.4gea.com = golf equipment afficienados (my favorite)
www.freegolfinfo.com
www.golfdiscussions.com
www.bombsquadgolf.com
www.golfreview.com

I'm sure there are a ton more, but the GEA is probably the most informative, and CIVIL place for all golf topics (from instruction to equipment, to tour talk, etc.) It also has a SWAP SHOP to buy sell and trade. I've been a member there (free registration) since 99, and have played in tons of outings too - at least one in Chicago and StL every year, but usually more :) Never met a GEAer that wasn't a good guy.

BombSquad is more of an "edgy" tour equipment talk site. If you don't have a $500+ shaft in your driver then you are missing out...lol Guys on there drop $1K on drivers only to get the latest and greatest 6 months later. This I don't get, but these guys are serious when it comes to what the PGA Tour guys hit, and why they think that stuff is also better for their game.

Check 'em all out, but cool thing about the GEA is that your first post could be about pool cues in the non golf section, and you'll get PLENTY of responses (millions of hits per day - lotsa members).

Just wish there was something better in the way of a golf forum...
Guess no one tops AzB, no matter the sport. Lol.

Used to get a lot of good info on the boards at TheGolfChannel.com, but haven't been on there in a while....

After frequenting GEA for a number of years, I tried to find a billiards forum that was the eqivilent, and felt the same way you do. I really like the GEAs format alot better than this one, but I'm getting used to the format here now....just ok, still. As for GO (golf opinions); I believe it was also a break off of the GEA. The GEA is pretty strict about flaming, and some guys didn't like that. Golf Opinions is a good one as well.

Now, on to what really matters....what's in the bag??? :D Cobra (HS9) driver, Cleveland 17? Launcher fairwaywood, 2 & 3 Cleveland Halos (hybrids) 4-6 irons are PING I3+ blades (blue dot w/DGS shafts) 7-PW are PING S59s (same dot and shafts), PING Tour wedges (54? bent to 53, and a 58?), and a Scotty Cameron Phantom Futura II. Ball of choice at the moment is the NIKE One black.

I hope I never get as obsessed with cues the way I have been with golf equipment. LOL

the question marks after the numbers (17, 54, 58, etc.) is a degrees symbol, looks rigt when typed, but turned into question marks when posted...hmmmm, weird. ALT key - 7847 on the num pad.....usually works for degrees sign....ooops. :)
