Any good books out there about table repairs and maintenance?

There are some things in those books that will lead someone in a direction, what direction they choose is up to them.

Stop arguing with me!!! Love ya man

Here's the thing about all those books, out of all the tricks of the trade I've shown here on AZ, and every little thing I've show how to do in an effort to help those working on pool tables increase their skills....you won't find one of them in any of them books, and the reason is....because even those authors have no idea how to use a bottle jack and a strap to level out the seams on a slate so theyncan be superglued together flush instead of feathering out the wax, bondo, or.plaster to make up for the slate seams that don't flush up....LOL

Well, because there's a lot of problems in this industry that need to come together and be solved at the same time. I'd rather talk on the phone about it rather than take the time to type it all out here. 702-927-5689

I'm considering writing a book called "S. Florida Table Hackers". It will cover Not-Level, Poor Stretching, Layers of staples under bed and in Pockets, Non Calibrated Pockets, Wicking with SuperGlue. Loose bolts and a guarantee to return if needed to do the same job over if unsatisfied. The final chapter covers moving a table with a dolly and damaging it.
I could bash the royal crap out of them and a jury would sympathize with me.

But, it can show them very basic tools. what things look like and such. I watched and read anything I could find in my beginnings and it all lead me somehow to where I am now. You Mark and Jay really lead the rest of the way.

My point is, reading and watching right and wrong things lead me to here. I learned the most important stuff from watching posts on here, studying, working my a$$ off and talking to you guys about what you do!

With out all of you guys I would not be where I am at. I respect, appreciate and VALUE all of the things that you guys bring to the table.

A pretty smart guy said this once in my defense: "This business dictates who comes and goes."

I am still here and not going anywhere.

Thanks to all those who paved the way for us new guys. I love pool tables, working on pool tables, talking about pool tables and lets not forget the most important part:

PLAYING ON POOL TABLES!!!
