I have Read Mostly How Bad One guy is... How Annoying another is... and How Old and Outdated another one is....

Who's your favorite?

Scott Frost followed very closely by Johnny Archer. I'd rather hear a TOP PLAYER who knows how to blend the past with the present and share inside tips while not sounding like a robot!
 
John Schmidt and Earl Strickland for me. Combination of humor and top notch insight on the game.

Great minds think alike; they were the first two I thought of. Too bad there's not enough money in pool to entice either of them into commentating.
 
Billy I and Jeremey Jones are good. Commentating can make a bad match great or a great match bad...for example the favoritism from Ken Schuman during the SVB vs Alex TAR match where Alex came back from a big deficit made him look like a complete mook.

Absolutely true.
 
Billy is always pretty good. But as mentioned I like Jeremy Jones and Schmidt too.

Scott Rabon has been doing some commentary for Ray and he does a good job too.

I'm not sure what accu-stats is paying commentators or if paying anything but they could do well by recruiting some active players who have the gift and desire to bring good commentary to the table.

Jay Helfert at times does good commentary but some he's not consistent in my opinion and it depends on who's match he's working.
 
Billy Incardona...

When he and Buddy were on some of the old Accustats videos it was gold, great combo of pool knowledge and humor.

Anybody who volunteers to get behind one of those mics gets a tip of the hat from me. I know I'd freeze, twist words, etc.

Mark Wilson ..Scott Frost..Jeremy Jones..Billy Inc. Danny hanging on by a thread, though this year hasn't been as bad as previous years....Scott Raybon and Jeremy Jones are the best 2 announcers on the one-pocket matches.....Billy Gibbs should stay as doing the updates, not in the booth, last night in the Banks, he was unbearable for me, that is just my opinion, and we all have our own opinions...:-)
 
I don't know his name, but he comments most of CSI production.. he also is the presenter of the players in these CSI videos.
 
People always complain about Mitch Laurance, but I always thought he did a good job - he never pretended to know more about pool than he did, he stayed quiet when appropriate, he would ask the pro with him questions about the shot, he showed enthusiasm for the game from a non-pro player perspective.
