Wondering what issues and adjustments you come up with from Mark's stance as a left handed player ? It is difficult to get into the stance and maintain chin lock. What's up with that?

As a leftie, as i read the book i just swap out left/right as i read it

I got that. I am just not able to keep the chin locked so good and not cross back over the shot line. I can get the stance if i let go of the chin lock. But then I am more likely to miss- defeating the purpose.

Everyone's different, I can't lock my leg, after a couple hours it starts to bother my back.

The way I read that portion of the book was to reduce movement and deliver a consistent stroke. If for you to deliver a consistent stroke, you have to do something different than the book says do what you have to do.

Would have to reread that portion, don't remember chin lock. Maybe cue under your chin. For me when thinking about his stance recommendations, I don't remember trying to reposition the cue in relation to my chin. I only looked at feet position. If you tell me the page number you are looking at i'll go reread and give you my interpretation

I'm a lefty and will be buying this book soon.

A close friend just bought and has raved about it like it's the new "War and Peace" of pool.

it really is that good. I just destroyed by game temporarily (i hope) to make it better though.

Haha, I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I ordered it after I saw his interview with Tor Lowry. I felt the same thing, it's got to be an instant classic.

I simply cannot get the chin lock. It puts the shot line centered between both eyes - like mark describes. My dominant eye keeps drifting centered to shot line - ( perfect aim technique)

I'm a lefty and Mark's book has really improved my stance. I played for a long time with my cue well off to the side, under my left eye. I spent the last few months working on the chin lock and centering the cue on my chin more (it's still slightly to the left of my chin), and it's really helped my game.
I think when changing your stance and PSR, it's important to take the time to add things slowly, one at a time, because it's tough to change multiple things at once and just gets frustrating.
Good luck!
