Sorry if there is some easy way to figure this out, but I was wondering if there are any major pro tournaments in the LA area any more. I remember attending the tourney at the Bicycle Club Casino years ago, but I don't think that exists any more.

Anybody have info on this?

Probably the best you'll see is the Swanee tourney coming up in February at Hard Times. It's too tough these days to find a location and stage a major event. It's a guaranteed money loser for the promoter.

Thanks Jay

Wish the economy would turn around

I stated in another thread that it would be great if you were able to put that 8 ball tourney on again. The matches I watched on youtube were some of the best pool I've ever seen

Why did the Bicycle Club tourney stop?
