Does anyone know if there are any good non-smoking pool halls/ bars in the Detroit Area? If so, what kind of equipment do they have? I'd like to find some place non-smoking to get in a league. Thanks.

I have not seen any non smoking rooms in the Detroit area, I live in Plymouth area, let me know if you want to shoot some, I have a 4 1/2 x 9 and my basement is non smoking......pm if you want to get together and shoot some.

Hall of Fame Billiards has to be one of the best rooms anywhere. I can't stand the stench of smoke myself, but this room is superbly ventallated. I don't remember if smoking is allowed or not, but for what it is worth, I think that room is the place to be.

Their steak tips dinner special was so good, I'd walk from RI just to lick the plate.

Hall of Fame does allow smoking, I do agree the ventilation is quite good and the smoke isn't a problem. I have Asthma so I am very aware of smokey building and avoid them like the plague!

I will have to try their steak tips dinner, I have had quite a few meals there and they have all been great since the new owner took over a couple of years ago.

Thanks, I may take you up on that. But I'm a C player, just so you know.

Thanks, HoF is where I usually go. It's not bad, but I still think it gets smokey as hell in there sometimes. I agree it's one of the better places. I'm not sure about the league there. Last night somebody told me about a couple new places opening up in the area, so I'll see about those as options when I find out more.

Is there anywhere near Clinton township (north of detroit)? I am going to be working over there come this spring and would be interested in good places to shoot at that are near there. Thanks.
