Any place to play near Palm Springs??

Staying at Reniassance hotel in Palm Springs and wondering if any decent pool halls to play some cheap sets?? I have rental car but need to stay relatively local...

nope, yupica is the closest and that is a long ass drive.

There is one place in palm springs but i would not recommend going in there. Place looks like a dive bar. Cloth and rails are different colors. Just doesn't seem like a safe place.

Almost reminds me of Bananaz or something when I was down there a few years ago and went out with some friends. I think it was over by the Palm Desert mall or something. Then there's also Sharky's, but the FB page looks pretty dead and the one review I found makes it sound.. well.. like some place you'd visit to get away from normality.

I look and saw that there's a Palm Springs Pool League web site. They have a short tournament list, so I'd either check that out or go over the team locations and see what places are close and check those out.

I've gone to Beer Hunter before on 111 and Washington, but I don't think there's any serious play in there. Two tables, if I remember right.
