Indeed there is.
Billiards of Springfield, is located four blocks from downtown Springfield at Kimbrough and St. Louis streets, across from the historic Shrine Mosque. Hours are 11 am until 2 am.
They serve the best hamburgers in town, but my suggestion, however, would be the Hustler Club. A combination Club and Hamburger sandwich with large fries.
Beer and liquor is available, and no sleeveless shirts are allowed.
For your pool playing enjoyment there are 16 Gold Crowns with tournament blue cloth. :smile:

If you do find a pool room in that area, Dont play a stranger any straight pool for money!
I would add one pocket and banks to that list.....rotation is ur best bet as he doesn't care for that game.

You might also want to check out Dennis' Place on Sunshine St. Bar boxes but they are Diamonds and play decently. Billiards is about it for 9' tables ( I think Fox and the Hound has a couple though).
Some of the locals will be in Joplin on Sunday for a tournament that starts at 1pm.

ah, thanks for the update - didn't know. I played in there once for about an hour. :smile: And if it matters to anyone, that Joplin tournament has been moved back to noon and you must be signed up by 11:30am.
