are you referring to the Instroke copy style....
if you are..., both cases will protect....but thats it.
they will both fall apart in a few years. by fall apart i mean, straps, handles, the lid and latch, will likely fail/break. ....the leather that covers the case is very thin paper/cardboard backed type leather....complete junk and a waste of 120 dollars or so....this is if your gonna use/ carry /transport the case 3 or 4 times a week... if you dont play much and only take your cue out 3/4 times a month than i guess the case will be ok for you....personally i wouldnt buy either way.
ive seen too many of these cases busted up one way or the other.
im not sure about the hampton ridge but the Vincetore is Junk....the Hampton Ridge is probably made with the same materials.
for that price range/performance your better off just spending more and getting something made with quality components....or spending half as much and getting something that will be the same poor quality or better...and last just as long for less money. like those 70 dollar square vinyl coverd cases..sure they dont look cool but they actually hold up better than Vincetore.
if your looking for 2x2 or 1x2 or 1x1 just get a hard tube style case for 30 bucks or so and call it a day
