Any tips on going from ld to conventional shaft?

Thanks guys for all the help. Just going to keep playing with it and try to readjust. Resisting the temptation to go back to the 314 too. I do notice that when I slow down and shoot softer I am alot more accurate and precise. I dont seem to need to force the cue ball as often as I did with my old cue. Not a bad thing I guess, just alot different than what I am used too.

I would go back to your 314. I had someone convince me to not play with my 314 for a while, saying that I would play better without it. It didn't work and when I went back to my 314 and stopped worrying about whether a shaft was messing with me I got better. You should play with what you learned with.
