i want to thank you for taking the time to write this and remembering my dad as one of the best pool players around paris tn,i will for ever be greatful to you for this info. that i never knew was around nor did i know about this book until dec. 2009..

Donna your father is mentioned many many many times throughout this book. Definitely a must read for you. Only problem the book is really rare. It could run you as much as 100 dollars. There is a way though, go to Jacks pool room. If Chris Cannon is working he has a copy. He let me borrow it to read and then I bought my own copy. I am sure he would probably do the same for you.

Whatever happened to Jim Mataya?

Mataya is still around but not playing, that I know of. He'll go to the DCC sometimes and was at the BCA in Vegas this past May.

Last I heard, Howard Vickery was on the run for awhile but was finally caught and is currently serving time.
