Last month while browsing eBay, I say a listing for a group of Huebler one piece house cues. I had never seen any before so I did a little research, and I found out that Paul did make a number of these cues, so I bought them for conversion.

When, the cues arrived I was very surprised at the quality of these cues, the Butts were figured Hardwoods that ranged from Macasar Ebony to Bacoti, and after all these years the cue were still straight along with being 13+ MM at the tips.

These are without question the best House cues I have ever seen, and just like the Sneaky Pete's that were made Huebler they are Full Spliced and made by Huebler cues in Linn, Mo.

Huebler House Cue

A pool hall here in Denver, no longer around, used to have an old Huebler house cue on the wall and it was definitely the best cue off of the rack I've ever played with.
I used to look for it just to break with even if I had a break cue with me.

Great find

I've got 5 or 6 of those at home as "house" cues. When I bought my table, the dealer had just a few left & I picked out all the straight ones. Solid hitters. Linen wrap. Had triangle tips put on them.

Manwon, Huebler one piece house cues, Were make in the early or mid ninety before Meucci Cue came out with a one piece House cue. I want to say they cost either $35.00 or maybe $56.00 ea. then. Tony Long of Long's Billiard Supply in Newport News,Va was carrying them in '96.

A local pool hall had a few for sale. I picked a couple up a while ago for $25 each. They make great sneakies.

Nice pick up Craig. Are you going to sell some of the conversions?

I actually bought them all for that purpose, and so far I have finished two of them, both sold the same day. The hardest thing about doing a conversion on them is re-balancing the cue, Hueblers typically are kinda butt heavy, and Paul had the weight bolts glued in. To re-balance them they have to be partially cored and the weight bolts must be drilled and removed with an easy out.

However, they are worth the time and do make great hitting Hustler Style cues.

Thanks to everyone who posted.

Nice

Craig,
Nice ebay find, I guess that I need to pay more attention! I have a sort of sneaky that Mr. Huebler did with a stainless joint, plays great. That heavier joint might balance out the cue better.
