Anybody heard of Him ? 7 years old !

It's an old video and I think he is 12 now. The center table trick won't work any more!

True. The only way to safe him now is not to leave any balls on the table. He played the monthly tournament last month in Chattanooga and ended my tournament run. I'm in good company, though. He also beat Cliff Joyner and a couple of other really good players.

The most impressive thing about him is the way he carries himself. He's a great kid. Down to earth. Very nice, polite, and respectful. His father is a class individual as well. I love to see him show up for the tournaments. He is a big hit with the spectators.

Define "beat Cliff Joyner". Maybe a game or two, but not sets. Anybody can claim to "beat someone", and in actuality, the person they shot against rattled a 9 ball in a pocket once in 20 games.

I'd still like to see him shoot. And I know his dad from somewhere (and I don't frequent any tournaments).

By beat he means a full set, in a tournament, which was reported here a while ago. He plays really REALLY well, I watched him go hill hill with Tennesse at the Athens, UPA event. The trick stuff is just for exhibition, this kid has serious playing ambition and I think he will be relieved when the novelty factor of his age is in the past. He did the tricks in Athens, he was tired and a little cranky and told he was so happy when it was over.

I think the score was 9-6. Landon won 9 games, Cliff won 6 in the tournament match. I'm not sure, but I think he did go hill-hill with Jonathan Hennessee at the UPA event in Athens.

There WAS a 7 yr. old on national tv this week!

Landon is a class act! There was a 7-yr old kid on the Today Show last Tuesday. He is local to the NYC area, and also shoots quite well, for such a young boy. When asked by Matt Lauer if he plays for money, he gave the right answer...a firm NO! He has played in a couple of bigger tournaments already, and even won a few matches. Kids like these are the positive future of our sport, imo.:D
