It seems to be very old an looks like older Brunswick or Adam cues...the points are very sharp and the birdseye Maple is looking nice. I got it from the german Ebay.

Many thanks

MY money is on Adam... esp since you said German Ebay..
Adams are all over the place over here.. JOBA, I think, is a distributor over here that had many different designs produced by Adam Japan over the years...not so much anymore...

I have worked on the same model cue before the only difference is that the wrap was black and thier were NO gold rings !

The owner had it since day one and said it was an "ADAMS"

So hopefully, that validates your cue model....

Can confirm

It is an adams from the early to mid seventies. Will tell you the exact model when I get home tonight and check my book. I collect early Adam and Helmstetter cues. :) :)

This is mid seventies level 7 A/H-36 Corsair. A/H for Adams Helmstetter. If you want to sell PM me.

Classy stick, except for the little dots all over it. I think this was a case of subtraction by addition.

Yes they did get a little "happy" with the inlays... but alot of the early models were like that, I guess they figured the more inlays = more work = more $ money $ !

Although, I can appreciate the amount of detail... I too fell it's just a bit too much...

Bump for your attention on ID.:) :D

Helmstetter was big on the details, gaudy yes, but nice. Full splice and came with the leather wrap. Very strong hitting cues.

Definately an Adam. I knew several people who had cues like this one when I started playing in the early '70s. Wanted one myself, but wound up getting a Palmer instead.

I got something you might like..........
It is an older model "Stanley West"..if you are into old Adams Helmstetter then you might want to take a look...Mine is a 2nd Generation produced around the early 90's..

The Stanley West line was produced in very limited numbers b/c of the price and was made for the Euro market only...
