Anybody miss....

So is TAR history, is their studio closed. Honeslty I never watch their channel, as these high stake game were just difficult for me to grasp.

Guys playing a game of pool for more money then most American make in as month, is difficult to grasp.

I guess Alex play one pocket for $17,000 a game would’ve put you in a coma.

Yes your right hard to grasp, like the guy I saw at Cesar's once playing 3 hands of black jack at a time. $500.00/hand, and had like 60K in chips in front of himself. Not my world, I am Tuesday Popyeyes Special guy, two pieces of Chicken $1.69, and I am in haven.

Yes, unfortunately. The TAR studio was closed on, if I remember correctly, July 31st of 2014 when the lease expired.

There were 39 TAR matches and 48 podcasts.

I was lucky enough to visit Justin and TAR in Vegas both in the studio and at the US Open. Justin wouldn't ship DVDs across the border so I was never able to own any of them but I did order the PPV for most of the matches and have bought what I could from the Vimeo.

Its too bad it couldn't continue as a part time traveling production. Flew in to see two matches at the Studio (SVB vs Alex and SVB vs Efren) and Justin ran a good professional event.

Thanks for the reply.

Justin is a great guy, and contributed nicely to our genre for years.

He and Chad did their first streaming event at Shooters in Olathe in July, 2007, while Justin was living in Indiana, years before he moved to Vegas and partnered with Griff. The Shooters event was a $3000 per person ring game, and was absolutely loaded with champions. One of the first huge entry events, and they did super.

A year later, he was the formal photographer for me at the 2008 ICCS Show when we held it in Kansas City. He captured some wonderful photos, and great interviews. We told him to act like he was at a wedding, and take pictures of Everything. He sure did, and he became a good friend.

I miss Nasty. What a friendly, gregarious, outgoing and accommodating person, liked by literally everyone. Justin is into firearms and other things these days. I wish he were back in pool and billiards.
