Anybody seen this Joss before

I remember them yes...sold for about $3-340 new depending on who you got it from.
 
I have an old Joss sneaky that I'd be interested in finding out more about. I'd like to know what year it was built in particular. If I put up the serial # on it is there anyway to find out that information?

you'd probably have to contact joss for that...

I usually just hit the wayback machine for cue's that I know the model number of. www.cuestore.com had quite a few and has been on the internet for awhile so the internet archive has their old pages and prices

I remember this design because I was surprised to find it in a sporting goods catalog when I was looking to cash in some American Express points about 4 years ago. It was this design or one very similar. Some called it the "wheel cue" in their catalog. I think it was also sold by a company that is no longer around called the "Internet Cue Store".

It's basically an entry level Joss that would resell for around $200 now. They made a lot of cues with a similar design to this around that time period and I believe Cuswin is right - retailed for about $300 - $350, sold discounted for $250 or so.

internet cue store is still around... www.cuestore.com Just changed their look a bit.

Rock something or other..have brought a couple cues from him in the past, usually direct shipped from aurora road billiards.

Yes, that's the one, thanks. This cue is a 99702, part of the Promo series. It retailed for $325 and the Internet cue store sold it for $217. Catalog pic shown below. This is right around the time Joss changed their logo from the one shown below to a stamp on the joint.

Thanks everybody. I just wanted to know a little something about it. I was kinda hoping it was worth more but it will work.
