I call this,
The Martial Art Dragon Cue. Ingraved on the colar is a Martial Art looking dragon (Asian Dragon). Will not show up in pics. I think it is from around 1993 because of the pin. It has that end that you can use a live center on. The owner thinks it is one of the few CNC Runde because of the color of the stain. We have no idea who Engraved the Dragon on the colar. If it was Schon or who ever. I think it was picked up at Vegas Pool Convention a nuber of years ago.

I'll try Evan soon.

Thanks for any help,
Jeff

as jeff said this is my cue he posted on here for me. there are two dragons etched with some intense detail on both sides of the joint. i've searched everywhere to try to figure out the model and price, however i came across an archive at the below website that seemed kinda close to it. i could be way off, but any insight on this cue, year/maker/ price would be of great help.

thanks guys!

The cue is a Schon SP-34

I ordered one in purple heart back in 1990 from Dan Mitten in Indianapolis...it was a sweet cue until it got stolen when I was at Ball State in 1992. Since then..I have had one just like the one you have pictured also..but no dragons on it.

Evan told me they would never use this type of wood again..said it started a fire in the shop somehow...he was not fond of this type of wood in the points. He said it was some type of oak. I still may have the email somewhere.
