anybody tried one of the OB cues yet?

looking for a review of one of the whole OB cues. they've got come pretty cool looking cues on there site these days. anyone tried one yet?

Have not hit with any of the cues but I do play with the OB 1 shaft and love the way it hits

The OB shafts are very good (not the best...), but I don't know about OB cues - I'm not interested in their cues because all my equipment is uni-loc and they use only the cheaper 3/8 x 10.

I have the OB break shaft with a unilock joint. It is doing exceptionally well. I wanted something a little different, and I have a solid break, and mucho control.

Some prefer uni-loc, some prefer 3/8x10, some prefer other pins. Anyway ob makes shafts with all of the most common threads http://www.obcues.com/categories/Shafts/

the pin costs less sure but it also offers more surface area when you screw everything together. the 3/8-10 is hands down the better pin.

Just got an OB classic pro this week and hands down the best performing shaft I have ever used. I got it in a radial thread and the feel is great. It doesnt have the foam core it is solid wood and also has a short white ferrule instead of the maple. The hit is so much more solid than a standard OB shafts. Hope this helps a little. Are you sure the OB classic doesn't have a foam and rubber core? I can almost guarantee it's not "solid wood".

Yes sir the classic series shafts from OB are solid wood with no dampener in the core. Makes for a much crisper hit, it feels great.

Curious about the cue as well. Because the shafts are hands down worth the money
