Anybody tried this ball set

Y’all are right again. Thx. Buying aramith premium UNLESS I get itchy to spend another 150 top that. Something about having the best when you’re 60😂😂😂

I thing the Dynasphere Tungsten are the best value in pool. I bought mine for $70 a few years ago, but see they are now $100 on ebay.

The Silver set used to be I think $110, now its $185.

Both are WAY better than anything Aramith makes until you get to their top of the line Tournament Generation 4 set, which is $350 range.

I'd take the Premier/Premiums over those Tungstens any day. Those things are horrid to look at. A kid brought a set in the 'hall and no one would use them. Play ok but jeez are they ugly. I wouldn't say they are 'WAY better' than than the Premiums/Premiers. About the same imo.

I love the look of my set. However, disclaimer, I AM colorblind:) So it might be I can't see how ugly everyone else sees them as, ha ha.

The better part to me is they stay clean forever. They are like the Aramith Duramith Tournament (gen 4 phenolic) set in that regard. The Super Aramith Pro set which has the gen 3 phenolic gets dirty much quicker, IMO.

I haven't played the lower tier Aramith sets (at least knowingly), so I assume they get dirtier even quicker than the Aramith Super Pro.

Buy once cry once... buy the best now but trust me...it does not end. But you know the truth... Pool Players Have More Balls. 😂

i have some older cheap sets i use once in awhile and really cant tell any difference. people put way too much emphasis on balls, chalk, gloves, tips.
the dynasphere bronze are the best bet for the money and play as good as any other.

Tournament versus super pro version premium. Thoughts. Thx again. I do appreciate y’all. I want to get this right. 😂

Just browse for a used set of premium pool balls. The pool balls are only new until you play with them.
After a rack, the set is used so just search for a set that is is good condition. It’s why I have 3 sets of
Centennials. I rotate two of the sets while the 3rd ( brand new) sits on my shelf. I have a BallStar so
the used sets are cleaned regularly. I’d rather have a set of used premium pool balls than a inferior brand.

I’m probably gonna buy em. If they are bad as I figure I’ll make a wall decoration from them. I love the colors and design. I’ll let you know when I get em
The company that supplied the tables for our state tournament must have bought cheap sets like those, they break like crap, you would swear every ball had a half inch gap between them.

I’m sure you’re right
😂
just wanted to hear someone say it I guess. I have the money for a nice set. And I’ve played with aramith premiere mostly at home across the years. Thx

These two quotes were spread out over more than a 12 hour period. In between this time, the voices of reason were given and you acted like you understood.

Then….

Where did you go?

Cheap is not always good.

I bought a cheap set of polyester resin balls once because I thought they looked, “kewl.”

I’ll be darned if those things didn’t leave track marks all over my cloth.

It’s over 😳😳😳tournament it is
Thank you baby Jesus for helping this honky see the light!
sold out every where
I think Dynasphere is in the middle of a rebrand where they change the names of the sets and raise prices.

As Rich stated, the Tungsten’s are a great set. All of those sets priced from low to high are made of the same stuff. They may not be pretty, but they roll true.

I like them. They remind me of the numberless balls in the Kinister videos.

Not worth it. Armaith Premium is the start of the "good" sets, at about $200. Almost as good as their Pro and Tournament sets for less. Any set of Dynaspheres is also good. Considering a good set will last for many years, not worth cheapening out on them and just settle.

having a cheap 50 buck set is good if you have kids or novices playing on your table when you arent around. balls tend to get wings with them.
