I had a bid on a black It's George case and just got the following message from Ebay:

Please be aware that the following auction-style listing:

Item Number - 7238178951
Item Title - It's George cue case 1 x 2 RARE!!!! Like Fellini..

has been removed by eBay for violating of one or more of our policies. Any offers or bids placed on this auction-style listing are now null and void. Because the auction was ended early, you as a bidder are not required to complete the transaction. Since this is a listing violation, the seller is free to relist the item in the proper format. Should you wish to do so, you are free to bid on the item again if it is relisted.

Please review eBay's Listing Policies and User Agreement at the following locations:

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sounds like someone got thier account hacked.

Go back and see if they have ever sold anything billiards related....it doesn't sound like it though.

Could have been a lot of different things, not necessarily a fake auction.

He could have asked for extra fees to make up for paypal, or maybe his feedback was one bad one too many.

Plus in the Title "Like Fellini" is against Ebay policies.

Though people do it alot, and Ebay rarely enforces it, you can not use another trade name to describe your item in the title, i.e. "Action Cue, Not Schon, Not Fury"

It could easily be as innocent as the "Like Fellini" in the title.

I'd email the seller and see what the deal is; make him an offer maybe.

It wasn't a Brunswick, it was the original "It's George". I can't go back to it, all links for watching and bidding are gone.

i bet it was like Mr. Wilson said.. because he had "Like Fellini" in the title..
ebay says you can compare it to something (only one other like brand) in the sub title or the description.. but not the main title.. in a sense.. its key word spamming..

That is probably it...key word spamming. I am always amazed, however, that Ebay will catch something like that which (to me) is not a big deal, yet all those scam ads with the executable virus files, etc just keep on coming.

ebay doesnt catch it.. in order for something to be done, somebody has to report it.. or else they all get through..

I don't see a strap in the pictures, wonder if it has the strap and pad?

No don't see any straps. Jeff, you had a really nice case, wish I had jumped on it.

I sold another case I had so I decided to keep it. I'll be going to get a nice name plate to put on it.
