Anyone carry a cue case on a bike?

I used to ride my bicycle throughout Boston while carrying my cues. Over the shoulder with the strap across my chest tended to work fine. I used a Wave case, so the thicker shoulder pad was nice. It probably slid off once or twice, but it wasn't bad getting it back on.

During crazier times, I would also have a backpack and looped one of the backpack buckles through the hand strap of my cue case. I'd still have to use the shoulder strap, but the case was riding essentially vertically behind my right shoulder, if that paints a good picture. Oh, and it was a 4x8, fully loaded. And there was a full set of balls in my backpack.

You guys are all talking about just riding to a pool hall. I approached the subject thinking of long distance touring. A couple of months ago I posted a question looking for the old school aluminum tube cases. I bought one at SBE from Prather cues. I think it's called the 1916 model.

Anyway, aluminum tube with o-ring seal screw cap. Sealed the end fittings with Seam Seal. This sucker is tough. A couple of straps looped through the trunk mount and I'm good to go.

I ride an FLHTC set up for solo touring and I use a police radio box with the detachable forward mount instead of the tour pak. The case is waterproof for riding in the rain and damn near bulletproof as well.
