Dunkin' Donuts is owned by the Carlyle Group who bought a vitamin company a couple years ago that had a large packing/distribution center in my town. I say "had" because after they took over they closed it down and a number of folks (some who'd been there for 20+ years) lost their jobs. So...they are indeed heartless bastards.
