Anyone ever have Vertigo?

This is really strange how many pool players have been affected by this.

Is it possible there could be some correlation between pool playing and vertigo???

Being down over the ball so often in a weird stance and striking a ball…….could this be slowly over time screwing with your equilibrium???

I have no idea, but I'm surprised by the number of people that have responded to this. Maybe there are just more people on AZ than I realized.

This has also happened to me a few times. Scary as heck when it first happens. Doc diagnosed it as benign positional vertigo (crystals in the inner ear) and it went away eventually. At the time I wasn't shooting much pool but was taping sheetrock on the ceiling so my head was bent back a lot. Sure made it tough to finish the job - just had to be ready to jump down when I felt it coming on.

Maybe there is a correlation with playing pool and head and neck position - never thought of that. Now you have me worried that I'll have it come back

I live with Tinnitus from Small Arms, and Artillery Fire while in the military. My EAR Ring all the time.

Some time I get the Tinnitus so bad I have Vertigo. BUT VERTIGo can also be cause by High Blood Pressure, so if you are have a VERTIGO ATTACK. Check you BP, and get meds if it is high.
