Anyone ever own a good decal cue?

Any cue can be a great playing cue. Just more likely to be good at higher cost with better material.

I am not a fan of decals, or pictures, cues and otherwise. Thats just my preference on how something looks. I dont like really busy inlays either though. Just simple looking cues, with nice woods. Any of the ones i dont like visually can play great to someone i am sure.

I have an original Predator BK thats from 97/98 in great shape that is definitely a great breaker and i am sure is painted/decal.

There is a sugartree budweiser cue of some reknown out there somewhere. I recall seeeing pictures years ago.

I remember playing with a griffin cue that looked really fancy about 20 years ago. This is when I was playing eight hours a day. I was the best player in the place back then so everyone thought I had a high dollar cue. They didn’t now it was $60 bucks, overlays, and Chinese import. I remember running a five pack back then with it. Some times you can find a cheap cue that feels right and hits solid. If you do hold on to it. Some times the memories in the cue are worth more than ivory inlaid or fancy signatures. I remember the thick smoke, the beer, the friends, the lock up safety’s, the look on people’s faces when they their turn was over but they never got to stand up. I wish I had that cue still.
