Anyone going to the 14.1 Tourney from NYC?

I'm looking to get down there sometime. (tonight? tomorrow morning? thursday?).

Is anyone else going? I don't mind going solo but prefer another person to go with if I can.

Were you standing outside the window of Corner's the other day (wednesday) and checking out the team nine ball action?
 
Hey!

I'm living in Little Italy right now, so that may very well have been me. I walk by Corner's every day since I live just off Lafayette (which turns into 4th).

I may try and join the Corner's leagues. Any info on how to go about doing this?

Not that it helps, but I'm coming up from the Phila. area on Saturday. Any ideas on the itinerary?
 
I rented a car this weekend so I can go down. I'm leaving early Saturday AM since my first match is at 9am (in the 14.1 Amateur). Be happy to pick anyone up from Pavonia/Newport or Hoboken PATH.
 
I have no idea where that is, but I'd love to meet you somewhere. I'm in Manhattan and can make it to Hoboken or surrounding areas.

(note: I'm new to the area, so I have no idea where/what Pavonia/Newport is)

I'm taking Friday off from work. I'll be heading out to East Brunswick early Friday morning, hoping to be there for the beginning of Friday's play.

I've booked a hotel room for Friday and Saturday night and will remain until the end of the event.
 
What's the best way to get down there?

Oh how I wish I was down there...

To think I used to attend Rutgers (about 10-15 minutes) down the road from the venue... Now i'm in Texas! :(

the best mass transit route from nyc would be suburban/coach bus from port authority to east brunswick. in fact, it drops you off right next door. port authority gate 420. i used to commute from there.
