Im deciding whether to go with the wrapless or the Sport cue.
They balance well compared to the early bk2. Control well on medium breaks.tigermaster said:Im deciding whether to go with the wrapless or the Sport cue.
this link seems to indicate it comes with the 314 2 shaft http://www.predatorcues.com/predator_cues_sport_playing_cue.phpvladmin said:the new Sport BK2 has a rubber wrap, similar to the Poison VX 2.9 J/B. No break cue from Predator has a leather wrap.
As for the shaft, the BK2 or the Sport version shaft has phenolic below the tip.

I did that for a while. Not really for hard break. But after a couple of months, the ferrule exploded! Not crack, not chip, Exploded! they ought to put a warning sign on that!railfirst said:correct me if im wrong here, but predator added a leather wrap to the BK2 and put a 314 2 shaft on it and called it a new break cue right? so why not just break with your playing cue that has a leather wrap and a 314 2 shaft?

tigermaster said:no problem at all. only thing is the sport grip isnt even on all sides. the predator logo is only on one side, the other side is just black. if the grip was all even and uniform i would have like the look a lot better.
