over the weekend i went to a billiards shop and i saw a very nice cue by the name of kaiser i bought it for $75 bucks ,has a solid hit and very nice looks. it has a steel joint with a lot of threads ,i got it so i can use as my break cue .afterwards i was wondering i should of researched kaiesr, maybe i should of got a breakjump cue,but im very happy with it thats what counts right ...

Kaiser

These are usually wood joint cues. For a cheap cue they do have a nice solid hit to them. I just didn't like the standard taper of them, but for breaking it would be better considering it feels a little bit like a tree trunk..

The Kaiser i played with was 3/8 11 brass pin SW style but the shaft thread hada plastic or phenolic insert, all in all it was a great cue at a cheap price, will buy one again for sure.

i think its a 5/16 14 joint it looks pretty cool after it screws in the shaft goes in a little to the butt part of the threads,my viking is a quick disconnect but it doesnt feel solid like the kaiser but what do i kno lol but thankxz guys for the input

I own one, freebie from pool hall for league players. I had a break tip installed and use it just for that.

good idea of the tip, since my break is a weak point in my game besides evrything else lol,i cant seem to put my body into it like these other players ,although what i consider is a good break is a ball going in and having an oppurtunity to shoot again ...
