just wondering if anyone has heard of a guy named david rowell and what opinions are of his cues

Rowell Cues

Yeah I have played with a cue made by David Rowell and in my opinion David builds a great cue. A low end cue I think runs about 350.00-400.00.
I shoot with David every year at the U.S. Amateur qualifier in Huntsville Alabama every year. I bought a cue from him last year and can honestly say I am very happy with it.

i saw david's playing cue last year at the us amateur. it looked like good workmanship. Try hitting balls with one and see how you like it.

Rowell plays very well, one of the better amateur players in the USA. He has a methodical playing style and that lends well to being a cuemaker I think.

David Rowell won the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2000 and finished 2nd in both 2004 and 2010.

The Rowell cues I've seen all use 5/16x14 steel joint. And size of butt is similar to Schon. Matter of fact, a friend of mine has one of his cues and I thought it was a Schon at first glance. Never hit with it though.

David plays in the US Open every year and does very well. He has a solid game and I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. If you do not know him just look for the guy that looks like Mike Sigel from a distance.
