anyone heard of "u-23"cushions?

went to a local ,amusement dealer to buy some cheap cues and while i was there the salesman said he had universal 23 or 32 cushions and that play as well as k-66 ,they are priced at 28 bucks compared to 50and he also had a cloth that had a white backing ,he said thats so i dont have to pull on it ,he also stated that it might play like the gorina i.p.t cloth . think any of this is worth it?

I forget which # is right, but I used to help a guy do some table work and the U-23 or whatever number cushion was a cushion for bar tables that had the back side cupped out like a U to go over a rounded part of the wood rail that sticks out. I think K-66 has pretty much replaced it on newer bar tables.
 
so does that mean they are like k66 ? or is this a case of u get wat u pay for?,since i would like to restore my table myself im thinking if i screw up well its only 28 bucks lol
 
U-23s are generally for Coin-operated bar tables such as Valley and Dynamo.

K-66s are your general cushion. I'd be careful about the K-66s for $50. They may not be great cushions.
 
smitty wat u mean? not great cushions? ive looked elsewhere and i heard they retail for 45 50 even 60$$$$$ are u saying they have cheap knockoffs and what should i look for wen i purchase ?i will be buying them next week my table cushion profile are as follows 1 1/2 -1 3/8
