Yes he can, but if the refinish was done at the shop, I'm sure there were paperwork done even if it was 2007.

You will not get paperwork for those shafts.
Gus did NOT use that pin.

I'm done with this now, I just wanted you to have accurate information. If you want to continue to try and sell them as something they aren't, that is your choice. You have been told they aren't (that isn't a guess, it's a fact) if you want to sell them as Szamboti going forward, you will be selling fakes.
 
Did the cuemaker change the joint collars on the shafts at all..? And you need to contact the shop to see if there is any way to verify 100 percent of what they are......and if they went to the cue that guy sold on ebay its more than likely it was a fake if they are not Gus shafts unless they were made for another cue by him that wasnt one he built. A call to the shop might go a long way on this situation.
